TALKaBOTit is a fun and interactive discussion tool developed by the Robotics4EU for 4 to 8 players. This free-of-charge game promotes active listening and creative dialogue, aiming to co-create ideas for improvements that can make for smoother robot implementation.

Who is this game for?

Free tool for robotics companies and researchers to evaluate the societal and ethical aspects of their robotic solutions in collaboration with potential end-users and stakeholders.
Internal tool for reflective discussion within the organisation/project if end-users or stakeholders are not available.

What's inside?

The discussion game is composed of four elements:

01.

Gameboard

The gameboard has different categories related to specific fields, corresponding to the categories on the question cards. Roll the dice, and move your token based on the number rolled.

02.

Token

Use the token provided with the game and move it along the categories.

03.

Question cards

The question cards are divided into six different categories: Human-Experience, Socio-economic Impact, Data, Legal, Engagement, Environmental Impact.

04.

Action plan

The action plan is a piece of paper to collaboratively note down the identified problems and discuss potential actions that could be further explored.

How can I play?

The game and rulebook are freely available to download in a digital file format. Once downloaded, you just have to print the materials, cut out the question cards, and then you are all set.
