Boosting innovations and maximising societal impact. Role of Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) in I&M Robotics

Robots can overtake the most dangerous jobs in the sector of Inspection and Maintenance which are still largely done by humans: inspection and repair of oil pipelines, bridges, and other infrastructure. Despite its massive potential in increasing safety and productivity, the introduction of robots in I&M is still falling behind, with many opportunities unused.

What are the Digital Innovation Hubs and how can they contribute to the widespread adoption of robotics in society? How can they enhance the implementation of robotics by SMEs and startups into their daily operations? Together with experts Ebert von Vonderen and Christophe Leroux we would like to get an insight into the role of DIHs and learn more on how they can help to close the knowledge gap of non-technological issues of robotics in I&M. Additionally, to discuss this topic from all angles, we will bring representatives of the SMEs in this respected area.
